

Once you’ve done this, you will have marching ants around your selection (which is the entire document). You can do this by going to select > all or by pressing ctrl + a on PC or cmd + a on a Mac. Once you’ve entered your text, you want to select all. When you do this, you will see a new text layer in the layers palette. Click on the text tool to add your text to the document.
